Restorative Dentistry

Silver (Amalgam) and Tooth-colored/White (Composite) Fillings are made to "fill" a hole in the tooth made after tooth decay is removed. This helps strengthen the tooth and retain its integrity.

Crowns are constructed to restore an individual tooth back to its original form and function. Crowns cover a damaged tooth or help secure a dental bridge.

Root Canals can be done on most teeth. This procedure removes the nerve and pulp inside a badly damaged, infected, or decayed tooth in order to save it.

Scaling and Root Planing is a non-surgical cleaning that rids patients of substances, like dental plaque or bacteria, which causes Periodontal Disease (Gum Disease). Gum Disease is inflammation and/or infection which tears down the tissue that supports teeth.

Implant Restoration is attaching a replacement tooth to an implant. Dr. Vidunas will work closely with a periodontist or oral surgeon to coordinate the procedure.

Bridges replace one or more teeth

Extractions (Pulling Teeth) - We make every effort to prevent tooth loss, but sometimes it is necessary to remove teeth. We make every effort to educate our patients, ease discomfort and ensure proper healing.
